Youth Engagement Coordinator
Region 2 – CO, KS, MT, ND, NE, SD, & WY
Position: Ducks Unlimited Region 2 Youth Engagement Coordinator. The chosen candidate will begin no earlier than October 15, 2024.
Job Responsibility: The Region 2 Youth Engagement Coordinator position encompasses the oversight of organization youth programs in region 2 including but not limited to:
- Grow the organization’s Varsity membership through engagement with youth shooting sports and the FFA.
- Promotion of the DU TRAP program to youth shooting sports teams.
- Promote DU’s R3 programs with state partners and NGOs to increase youth shooting and hunting participation.
- Recruitment of new Varsity (high school) chapters and volunteers to the organization
- Increase awareness of Ducks University (collegiate) program and assist in recruitment of volunteers and members into existing chapters.
- Build and maintain relationships with State Youth and Education Chairs to promote DU’s youth engagement programs.
Qualifications Required: Applicants must have a minimum of a four-year accredited degree to apply for this position. Prior volunteer experience with Ducks Unlimited will greatly benefit candidates, as well as experience in education, or R3 programs. Candidates should have outstanding communication, writing and organizational skills; ability to persuasively convey the mission of DU and be proficient in standard computer programs. The chosen candidate will be required to reside in Nebraska or South Dakota at mutually agreeable location, and office from their home.
