Description

Quality Inspector will perform off line quality inspections on parts and packaging for new programs. Ensure the quality standards are met or exceeded for the customer.   

 

Essential Functions

  • Off-line quality inspection of the following product:
    • Safe Launch of new program parts
    • Non-Safe Launch Product:
      • Parts with recent customer defect/issue
      • Parts with known history of quality issues
  • Knowledge of part work instructions including correct packaging and labeling
  • Communication with shipping to prioritize inspection order
  • Communication with program management/quality department for new program specifications
  • Communication with team leaders/quality techs/shift supervisors for any potential quality issue
  • May be asked to work flexible hours
  • Data Entry using SPC
  • Comply with all Techniplas Environmental Requirements and Policies
  • Report all Environmental incidents to immediate supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

 

Qualifications


Required Education and Experience
 

  • High School Diploma/GED Required.
  • One to three months plastic injection molding experience and/or training is preferred. 
  • Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a reliable, responsible team player focused on producing a top quality product.
