Columbia Grain International (CGI) is an established leading full-service company specializing in Trading and Commercial Supply of grain and pulse commodities wordwide. We are headquartered in Portland, Oregon and own/operate over 60 elevators and offices throughout WA, ID, MT, NE, and ND to support our domestic and export sales program.

Enrich Foods, LLC completed its first acquisition by purchasing Great River Milling in Fountain City, Wisconsin, assuming its milling operation and a new, state-of-the-art packaging and distribution facility. This new venture provides CGI the foundation to expand into the CPG category.
Position Description
The Manager, Supply Chain and Procurement will be responsible for managing all planning and execution of supply chain for Enrich Foods. This position will work with the other members of the team to work toward operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiencies, and work with members of the business unit to guide and advise as needed (position can sit in Portland, OR, Great Falls, MT or Fountain City, WI).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate, assess, develop, and manage the supply base to meet customer agreements
- Employ strategies and tactics to mitigate risk in order to ensure continuity of supply. Own our risk mitigation plan for supply shortages.
- Manage relationships with external manufacturers and distribution partners as needed
- Work collaboratively with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis, trade-off analysis reviews, and supplier roadmaps to support cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Setup new suppliers as needed, administer contracts, independently negotiate contracts including pricing, technical requirements, scope, and any other terms
- Develop our overall supplier negotiation and engagement strategies
- Issue purchase orders in a scalable fashion, ensure timely delivery of purchase orders, and resolve invoice issues
- Monitor and manage costs to ensure adherence to budgets and forecasts
- Analyze supply chain and procurement data and report metrics
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience
- B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in broad and successful supply chain and procurement roles.
- Must be proficient in all MS Office programs, with advanced MS Excel
- Strong working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as an aptitude for reading the market.
- Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking.
- Strong analytical and planning skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to uphold and maintain discretion and care regarding confidential and sensitive personnel and company information.
- Proficient and hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the company, and with vendors and customers.
