About the Role
Job Title: Machine Helper
Major Areas of Responsibilities
- Manufacture Corrugated Cartons
- Assist the operator as it relates to the crews’ daily activities. Accountable for machine performance as related to waste, efficiency, quality and uptime objectives.
Primary Objectives
- Ensure all company policies are adhered to. (Safety, production, AIB, I.S.O. and quality).
- Assist the operator during set up and while running the Bobst die cut press and ancillary equipment for all production runs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Specific Responsibilities of the Job
- Assist the operator while setting up and following the Operator Checklist.
- Interpret job order information, specs and requirements.
- Assist the operator with all required tooling for each production run.
- Assist the operator to ensure all machine set-ups are done correctly.
- Monitor the quality of sheets while feeding the press.
- Monitor the quality of finished product while stacking of the press.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules, hearing and eye protection policies.
- Return tooling to proper locations.
- Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
- It is the responsibility of all employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.

- Highly motivated individuals with a stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Ability to operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain machinery.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions.

Job Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in temperature extremes from 40 degrees to 120 degrees inside facility for several hours continuously.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push and pull 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous machine operator experience preferred.
