We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our organization! As an Audio/Video Technician working inside the Full Swing University learning environment, you will be responsible for ensuring the customer’s sensory experience with a Full Swing Golf simulator meets the highest standards. We want the customer to feel immersed in the simulator without any distractions by creating a cohesive technology system by providing top-tier technical support to both customers and installers, manage case logs and resolutions, and maintain an exceptional level of customer service.

Analysis:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues over the phone, email, or chat in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage returned material, deduce failure mode, and discover trends.
  • Manage open cases, logs, and resolutions.
  • Follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues by using test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot PC connectivity issues.

Reporting:

  • Report common issues, trends, and questions to relevant parties. 
  • Present formal root cause analysis methods to design and/or installation improvements.
  • Schedule meetings at regular intervals to report root cause analysis. 
  • Participate in the summarizing and documenting of issues on a regular basis. 

Provide Training:

  • Work with 3rd party support partners to turn internal documents into customer facing documents. 
  • Create fault trees for common field issues.
  • Work with R&D and Engineering to create internal knowledge base articles to educate and guide support staff in answering common questions. 
  • Take data from field failures to create learning materials to improve installations.

Subject Matter Expert:

  • Provide expertise on A/V systems (computers, monitors, projectors, sound bars, etc.).
  • Execute computer functions and connect PCs to external devices.
  • Assist in creating preventative maintenance guides for A/V equipment.
  • Be the point of contact for external support teams.

Work Environment

This job operates in various environments such as customer locations, offices, warehouses, etc. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds and on occasion 150 pounds (two-person lift). 

Requirements

  

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Technical or computer related degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Understand cable management best practice (video, audio, networking, power, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Win XP, Win 7, MS Office.
  • Ability to build, configure, troubleshoot, and repair PCs.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Must be patient, self-motivated, detail oriented, and disciplined in time management.

Other Duties

Travel to work sites & supplier locations may be required as needed to serve business needs.
