Position: Tool & Die Process Technician
Location: Henderson, KY
Wage: $28.12 - $44.81.
Shift: 1st Shift 6AM - 2PM

What you’ll be doing:
- Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor to perform duties in the highest professional manner.
- Work independently performing predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting machinery problems and perform repairs and rebuilds as instructed.
- Work jointly with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is always in safe and efficient operational status and ensure optimum utilization and process capability.
- Be involved in the direct training of co-workers as assigned.
- Documents and performs preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures.
- Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality, or productivity.
- Practical machining experience (milling, lathe turning, precision grinding and fine polishing).
- Use of various metrology equipment and documentation of results.
- Work with the Plant engineer to optimize and improve processes and capabilities.
- Understand and follow PPE requirements, safe electrical practices, Energy Isolation procedures and other plant safety requirements.
- Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Performs all tasks safely and does not take risks. Additionally, identifies safety risks and works to reduce them.
- Must understand, follow, and assist in developing all Safety and Housekeeping procedures.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- Possess Certification as an Industrial Mechanic.
- Possess Certification in Machining and Tooling.
- Must have experience in Tool and Die
- AutoCAD proficient.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have 5-10 years’ work experience in an industrial setting.
- Have demonstrated mechanical skills needed for machine repairs and rebuilding
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of safety rules, manufacturer recommendations, OSHA regulations and general work safety practices.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Are proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
- Are able to perform physical requirements of the job.
- Able to read and interpret facility blueprints and equipment technical manuals.
- Computer literate and able to be effective and efficient with various computer applications.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively work within a team environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to work weekends, and overtime, as needed.
- Willing to work in a tobacco free environment.
- Willing and able to participate in safety programs and activities
- MIG,TIG and other welding experience.
