Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the planning team to ensure timely PO placement, tracking activities, and inventory availability to meet on time customer demand. Actively review and manage inventory levels.

• Collaborate with sales to ensure accurate demand is acknowledged and communicated timely to internal manufacturing and external vendors. Engage sales team and forecasting managers to improve supply and demand planning.

• Responsible for timely and accurate communication regarding inventory and supply chain topics. Prepare presentations and analysis as needed to support various communication requirements or to assist in identification of cost savings opportunities.

• Lead S&OP process and host meetings.

• Cross functional participation on product development, launch, or product phaseout.

• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering preferred. APICS certification a plus.

• Minimum 10 years supply chain / material planning experience, with a minimum 3 years supervisory experience. Must have experience leading a team.

• Experience in a make to stock environment, with an understanding of demand planning within the US retail supply chain.

• Working knowledge of ERP system required (SAP strongly preferred) including MRP functionalities, IBP, BI. Demonstrated high level of analytical skills, including high level of Excel knowledge.

• Past experience collaborating with production and transportation teams.

• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
