Job Purpose Statement 
The position is responsible for checking all finished products' quality and requirements based on customer specifications. 
 

Summary of Responsibility

• Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of finished product for defects using standard procedures and specification requirements.
• Perform first article inspections to support the component qualification process and any/all routine checks as required by quality.
• Ability to use and understand tools/equipment used to complete inspection and ensure maintenance on all inspection equipment.
• Mark defects and inform the proper person of repeating defects and any other unresolved quality problems to minimize defects.
• Understand and follow all safety rules according to job and equipment.
• Ensures safety and quality policies and procedures are followed.
• Assists in training of new employees.
• Conducts safety training.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Associates Degree in a related field and/or three years of related experience preferred
•  At least one year minimum experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Excellent manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the shift.
• Must have the ability to walk up to 800 feet, balance, climb stairs and/or ladders, occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, squat and kneel, frequently
• Ability to lift materials, 40 lbs or less regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally
