BI Analyst

• Document dataset requirement for analysis to address issues encountered in the day to day operations of the Credit/Collection, invoicing, and Customer Service team for HYVE business
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
• Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge
• Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
• May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
• May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
• This is a general role in which employees work with multiple types of business data

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding of data analysis and modeling tools
• Basic math, finance and business administration skills
• Proficient in utilizing MS Excel to complete complex tasks
• Basic experience in working with MS Power BI reports
• Proficiency with SQL and Access is a plus
• Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and make recommendations, etc.
