Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Production Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is crucial for operating specialized packaging machinery, specifically Cryovac and Filltech machines, used in the packaging of soups and sauces. If you have mechanical skills and a passion for food production, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized packaging machines, including Cryovac and Filltech, ensuring soups and sauces are packaged according to company standards.
• Set up and adjust Cryovac and Filltech machinery for different product sizes, configuring machines as necessary to meet production demands.
• Monitor the production process to ensure machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on Cryovac and Filltech machines to prevent and resolve any technical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations at all times.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production workflows.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a food production environment preferred, especially with knowledge of Cryovac and Filltech machinery.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate complex machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks required by the job.
• Comfortable working in a hot, steamy, and wet environment.
