Job Description

ASRC Federal is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the work with the Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) located at APG, MD.  Individuals must be able to perform all functional duties independently, with limited supervision.  This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for some flexibility to work remotely. However, it necessitates regular on-site presence at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, to provide support.

 

 

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Provide systems engineering services and subject matter expertise to validate technical and operational solutions.
  • Create test procedures, test cases, test threads, and scenarios to capture measures of effectiveness and performance.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing to validate vendor solutions.
  • Witness test events and document findings.
  • Coordinate engineering reviews for system configurations and operational documentation.
  • Review vendor-delivered technical documentation.
  • Write technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration management documents, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Provide systems engineering inputs to acquisition documentation including Statements of Work, specifications, and government Milestone (MS) C documentation.
  • Provide reports of vendor software identified defects, assist with prioritization of vendor issues, and conduct configuration control boards and engineering reviews.
  • Support the development of inputs to Request for Information, Request for Proposals, etc., as defined by government stakeholders.
  • Provide requirements management and system architecture expertise to ensure traceability of requirements and adequate system architecture documentation.
  • Provide Risk Management to ensure system risks are captured, documented, tracked, and mitigated.
  • Provide tracking, management, and purchasing support for hardware and software items.
  • Assist with the development of training support documentation.
