Matls mgt - Planner/Buyer

RESPONSIBILITIES Planning schedules to release to manufacturing in alignment with finite planning tools Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production Processing outside service work orders Material Flow Control Watching costs to ensure the production process stays within budget Assisting master schedulers with data on the production status and any production issues to upper management Handling production disruptions and productivity problems EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent experience needed CPIM, CSCP APICS certifications are preferred but not required REQUIREMENTS: 3 - 5+ years planning experience in a manufacturing environment Deadline driven professional with excellent internal & external customer service skills Experience using ERP and Advanced Planning Systems required. ORACLE / KINAXIS is preferred Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Powerpoint Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
