Description

The Logistics Coordinator will assist shipping and receiving employees in the performance of their job duties such as creating bills of lading, packing lists, and working with carriers for delivery of raw materials and shipment of orders.

Responsibilities:

Experience with creating bills of lading, packing lists, and pick tickets.

Generate transfer orders for shipment.

Schedule LTL orders for shipment.

Receiving and processing of incoming materials.

Coordinate deliveries and shipments with freight carriers.

Maintain receiving and shipping paperwork.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred
• GED

Essential Functions:

• Work with the Purchasing and Production departments to plan sufficient storage space for incoming items.
• Maintain and organize files to ensure compliance with customer and auditing requirements.
• Work with Dock Supervisor to handle issues arising in the Shipping and Receiving department.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints and work to solve them.
• Assist with loading/unloading goods when needed.
• Maintain and organize warehouse inventory.
