Overview of the Position:

Direct key sales and manage customer accounts to meet or exceed customer expectations and requirements while reaching internal company goals.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities with existing and potential new customer base
  • Manage customer relationships through key company initiatives and customer satisfaction
  • Contact customers to follow up, promote products, and review missed sales opportunities
  • Maintain customer data and communications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity through contract completion
  • Interact with customer, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service related issues
  • Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and capabilities to promote
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and presentation skills
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is preferred
  • Self-starter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Executive-level exposure
