Overview of the Position:
Direct key sales and manage customer accounts to meet or exceed customer expectations and requirements while reaching internal company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities with existing and potential new customer base
- Manage customer relationships through key company initiatives and customer satisfaction
- Contact customers to follow up, promote products, and review missed sales opportunities
- Maintain customer data and communications accurately and efficiently
- Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity through contract completion
- Interact with customer, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service related issues
- Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and capabilities to promote
- Other duties as assigned
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and presentation skills
- Must be fluent with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is preferred
- Self-starter
- Strong communication skills
- Executive-level exposure
