Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated, self-reliant, and career minded individual with proven experience for its **Shop & Field Service Technician **position. Working within multiple industrial markets, including wood, mining, power generation, recycling, municipalities, and food & beverage, you will be responsible for the service and repair of large and small AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other related equipment. You will also perform vibration data acquisition & analysis, balancing, and light weight belting maintenance. As a regional company you will split your time between in shop work and local travel to customer job sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Perform electromechanical repair and maintenance work
  • Inspect and assess customer equipment for service or repair requirements.
  • Disassemble equipment to determine extent of service and/or repair needed.
  • Through frequent and coordinated contact, ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and applicable mechanical/technical experience preferred
  • Two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program preferred
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in both mechanical and electrical repair. Military mechanical/technical experience desirable
  • Experience performing vibration data acquisition & analysis, balancing, and light weight belting maintenance highly preferred
  • Able & willing to frequently bend and reach and lift up to 50lbs safely
  • Able & willing to work in extreme (hot and cold) temperatures and weather conditions and loud environment
  • Valid Drivers License
