We’re actively looking for a dynamic Project Manager – Filter Media to lead filtration media development projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, outgoing individual who is accustomed to collaborating across the organization to get things done. This individual will work on multiple projects, partner with technical experts, partner with cross-functional teammates and utilize processes to complete their job. This role is ideal for someone who can work out of our Bloomington, MN office.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, and implement cross-functional projects following the Media Commercialization Process
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues including mitigation plans
Build relationships with key stakeholders and team members to enable successful outcomes
Work closely with multiple technical teams, globally, to confirm product performance meets set requirements
Communicate project status and updates with project stakeholders
Schedule and lead project team meetings as required
Lead gate review meetings with key stakeholders and Senior Leadership
Frequently interact with filter media suppliers, Donaldson plants and testing facilities
TRAVEL: Up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering or related field
3+ years of project management experience in a global company working with cross-functional teams
Experience with new product development or commercialization
Experience with using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of project management methodology, processes, techniques and tools, desired
Experience in pulp and paper or media development is a plus
PMP certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across the organization
Demonstrated problem solving and risk management skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of company personnel and others outside of the company
Ability to effectively manage the interaction of vendors, laboratory partners and customers.
Filtration technology development experience a plus
Solid verbal and written communication skills
