JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Lead Personnel and Shift Supervisor, the Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates warehouse palletizers, forklifts, and yard tractors. Class A CDL required. This position will also perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Person and Management.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including single and doublewide pallet-handling forklifts and yard tractor.

· Monitor the quality of product and raw materials being shipped or received and notify management of any inconsistencies.

· Operate bar code equipment efficiently and accurately.

· Load and unload semi-trucks.

· Maintain quality standards for all processes and functions within assigned duties.

· Accurately complete all required documentation on a timely basis.

· Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machines as needed.

· Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures on machines and work area.

· Assist in Production assignments as needed.

· Comply with all safety, GMP, and sanitation standards and procedures.

· Lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

· Frequently climb stairs, reach above shoulders, bend and twist at waist.

· Stand/walk or sit for extended periods of time.

· Be able and available to work overtime as needed (up to 64 hours/week).

· Required to adhere to all Food Safety Polices and Guidelines.

· Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
