Title:
Cybersecurity ProfessionalKBR is seeking a Cybersecurity Professional having experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) methodologies for Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for identifying and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and solutions to maintain a secure cybersecurity environment and ensure mission success for the customer. The successful candidate will participate in system data collection, test and evaluation, and risk assessments in support of the A&A process. The successful candidate will maintain awareness of cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices to provide technical support that effectively directs system security engineering for acquisition and sustainment programs. The successful candidate must also be able to provide, the following:
· System-related technical guidance on cybersecurity requirements in all phases of the A&A process.
· Technical assistance in characterizing and analyzing system architectures and cybersecurity products.
· Recommendations to improve systems and processes in light of functional operation and performance test results in order to mitigate or remediate risks.
Requirements
The position requires at least two (2) years of experience in a Cybersecurity related field. The candidate must have an understanding of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) methodologies similar to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF). The candidate must have, or be able to obtain, one of the following certifications within six (6) months of assignment to the position: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, CySA+, Security+, Cloud+, CND, SSCP, CGRC, or GSLC. The candidate must be familiar with cybersecurity practices for connected and disconnected systems and networks. The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity, and at least five (5) years of experience in a cybersecurity related field. Experience with Industrial Control System (ICS) / Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Host Base Security System (HBSS), Tenable Nessus Vulnerability Scanner, Application Whitelisting, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), X.509 digital certificates, or other similar cybersecurity tools is desired. Experience with the USAF, Military service, or Platform Information Technology (PIT) weapon systems. Active Secret security clearance.
