The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for an Administrative Assistant to support the VP of Marketing & Communications!


Location: This is a hybrid role including days in our Richmond, VA office (after training period)
Rate: Commensurate with experience + great benefits!
Hours: Full-time


Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the VP of Marketing & Communications by managing calendars, making travel, meeting and event arrangements.
  • Receives, screens, and directs inquiries and e-mail messages for the VP.
  • Provide varied key information and insight which may require the use of judgment and interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Leads out planning of marketing team meetings.
  • Provides coordination and administrative support for Marketing’s role in both internal and external IMB meetings. Present during select meetings to capture notes and record action items for follow-up.
  • Work with finance to coordinate departmental budget work such as quarterly reviews of budget, coding appropriately, and initial budget requests.
  • Provide monthly budget status reports.
  • Provides administrative support to the Marketing teams leadership that serves to achieve the plans and objectives of the teams.


Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, preferred in business or similar field
  • At least three years minimum of administrative/office experience
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience with working in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills is required
  • Experience with working with a high-performing team and executive leaders
  • Advanced skills MS Office Suite and Workday experience is a plus
