Job Summary:

As an Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our seasoned project management team. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of construction projects, learning the ropes from industry experts, and contributing to the successful delivery of our innovative and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Assist project managers in organizing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring they run smoothly and on schedule.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, and contracts.
• Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate clear and effective communication throughout projects.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address project challenges proactively, offering creative solutions to keep projects on track.
• Safety: Promote and maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Inventory: Assist in tracking material, purchasing and locating material in the warehouse.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (related coursework or degree is a plus).

Experience:

• Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for the construction industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

 

Location:

• This position requires an onsite presence at our Newburgh, NY office

Salary and Compensation: 

• In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At Unified Door and Hardware Group (UDHG), we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $22 - $25.00 hourly.
