Come join our team at Alabama Crown Distributing Co. as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Alabaster Alabama. Georgia Crown is a full-service alcoholic beverage distributor with wholesale operations doing business in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. 

Responsibilities

Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and the repair of industrial machinery.

  • Prior experience preferred in the following areas:-Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints-Electrical systems-120 volt,277 volt,480 volt-PLC's-Basic PLC trouble shooting skills-Pneumatics-Preventative Maintenance schedules & routines.
  • HVAC
  • Previouse experience with conveyor systems preferred.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to read and write and have mental capacity to complete required paperwork and records.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age with a Hight School Diploma or GED.  Technical School training preferred.                                            
  • Must be able to work overtime if required.
  • Prior experience preferred is the following areas:
    • -Reading blueprints
    • -Electrical systems-120 volt,277 volt,480 volt
    • -PLC's-Basic PLC trouble shooting skills
    • -Pneumatics
    • -Preventative Maintenance schedules & routines.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
  •            Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years.
  •            Cannot have DUI, reckless driving or hit-and-run in last 5 years.
  • Drug Free Workplace.
