JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION DEMANDS:
RCRA certification within first 60 days of assuming role.
- Maintain good attendance and a positive work attitude.
Have knowledge and understanding of all safety guidelines and specific safety hazards associated with position.
Have knowledge of and use all safety equipment required for position.
Need basic understanding of materials used in process and how they are to be handled.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a harmonious manner and interact in a cooperative way with supervision and co-workers.
Must wear or use all required personal protective equipment.
Read, understand and adhere to rules and guidelines stated in the Employee Handbook.
Understand Quality Standards and be able to make reasonable judgments and decisions regarding quality issues.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform various craft assignments in the maintenance department including welding and burning, sheet metal work, pipe fitting, hydraulic equipment repair and installation, troubleshooting, equipment fabrication and repair.
Read and interpret blue print drawings.
Rebuild pumps, valves, gauges, compressors, engines, gear units, variable speed drives, air and hydraulic cylinders and controls.
Must wear or use all required personal protective equipment.
Read, understand and adhere to rules and guidelines stated in the Employee Handbook.
Perform other assignments as directed by your supervisor.
Must have completed the training for the Mechanic position, and be proficient in the following areas:
Basic Electrical

Improper use of personal protective equipment.
