We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Chemist III - Bioanalytics in Boca Raton, FL!

 

The Chemist III - Bioanalytics is responsible for designing, conducting, and implementing quality control testing. The incumbent will review documented test results to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures. Uses knowledge and creativity to recommend solutions to problems.

Qualifications


  • Perform quality control testing for raw materials, in-process and final product samples, according to approved Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP guidelines. Complete testing documentation and data entry as required for procedures and test performed.
  • Maintain technical expertise in immunoassays and specifically ELISAs.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide training as requested.
  • Review and/or approve cGMP documentation generated by other analysts in the laboratory.
  • Accountable for following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhering to cGMP guidelines.
  • Perform testing as needed to generate data for validations and other special projects.
  • Perform instrument calibration or qualification according to written procedures.
  • Write and review SOPs and/or Validation Protocols.
  • Use judgment, creativity, and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions to problems as directed by QC management.
  • Maintain knowledge of current regulations

 

Education Requirements:    

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related science discipline is required.

 

Experience Requirements:    

A minimum of five years of experience in Chemical/Biochemical testing, including experience in a regulated environment (FDA, EPA, etc.), and knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements is an essential pre-requisite for this position.
