Job Title: Sr. Analog Design Engineer
Reports to: Local Site Design Manager
Job Summary:
Designing analog and mixed-signal ICs utilizing leading edge sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS technologies. Products to be designed may include switching regulators, linear regulators, high-voltage circuits, sensors, data converters and others for fast-growing portable and non-portable markets such as broadband modems, PDAs, notebooks, cell phones, telecom, fiber optics, digital camera, and network equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in the entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release.
- Work on the full design process from system level down to transistor level, including verification and layout supervision.
- Assist ATE development with Design-For-Test methods.
- Oversee and mentor junior designers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BSEE / MSEE with 5+ years of industrial experience in Analog circuit design.
- Effective communication and written skills in English are a must.
- Show initiative to communicate with different departments as needed to resolve issues.
- Understand analog and mixed signal circuits including amplifiers, bandgaps, linear regulators, data converters, etc.
- Understand analog layout techniques.
- Understanding of power conversion architectures and its control methods such as buck and boost is not required, but is preferred.
- Experience in the design of switching regulators and power stages up to 60V and 15A is not required, but is preferred.
