Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review all Winco Window-supplied window submittals, providing ancillary data as required.
• Review returned submittals, making necessary revisions for accuracy in cost and schedule impact, resolving any technical issues encountered.
• Lead and manage a team of Drafters and coordinate all shop drawing activities. 
• Act as a liaison between owners, architects, general contractors, and internal contacts.
• Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Oversee fabrication review to ensure all pertinent information is available.  

Requirements:

• Possess a 2-year technical degree with a CAD curriculum or a Certificate of Completion in CAD design from an Accredited Technical Institution.
• Demonstrate 5+ years of relevant work experience with proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Exhibit resourcefulness, self-drive, proactiveness, and independence. Demonstrate a hardworking and meticulous nature with a positive attitude.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel,)
• Knowledge of Window and Door products and manufacturing processes.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of aluminum window or building envelope submittal approvals is a plus.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
• Previous experience in managing people, including hiring, performance improvement plans, and evaluations.
