Principle Duties (includes, but may not be limited to):

• Assemble products based on part drawings.

• Use tape measure, micrometers, and other measuring tools to check quality of parts.

• Perform material handling duties using hand trucks, crane systems, and sometimes forklifts.

• Report production and labor tracking in computer system.

• Primary job functions and shift can change as required by production needs.

• Perform set-ups of machinery and equipment tooling.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• All employees are required to work safely so as not to endanger themselves or others.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE :

• Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Must have basic math skills including addition/subtraction of fractions and decimal values for determining material, manufacturing and inspection requirements.

• Must have ability to read measuring instruments not limited to but including: tape measure, thickness gage, balance scales, micrometers and calipers.

• Must have good hand-eye coordination, grip strength and dexterity to handle and produce products using hand and machine tools at established production standards.
