Description

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, production machinery and equipment by performing some or all the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Perform basic electrical maintenance repair.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Installs, troubleshoots, programs, and/or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as VFD’s and programmable controllers.
• Duties will be to assemble, install, and maintain related electrical equipment, as well as repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, cylinders, and related equipment.
• Comfort with repairing/replacing electrical components such as photo eyes and sensors.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, comfortable with heights and small spaces. 
• Have good ability in use of electrical testing equipment as well as hand and power tools. 
• Comfortable and familiar with 24VDC through 480VAC 3 PH
• Performs other related duties as required and requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• 5 years prior experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment. 
• Be able to troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Ability to read prints/schematics– electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic nomenclature.
• Comfortable with various power systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to do heavy lifting including possible repetitive of 50 pounds or more on occasion.
• Must be able to deal with constantly changing workloads.
