Overview

Sev-Rend Corporation is looking for a Cleaner. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation on the production floor, contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities 

• Regularly sweep production floor areas to ensure cleanliness and prevent the accumulation of debris.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, workstations, and machinery to maintain a hygienic manufacturing environment inside and outside of the facility.
• Collect and dispose of waste generated during the production processes. 
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials according to company guidelines. 
• Respond promptly to spills and accidents on the production floor, ensuring quick and effective cleanup to maintain a safe working environment. 
• Collaborate with production staff to schedule cleaning activities during downtime.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas, restocking supplies as needed. 
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is a plus.
• Comfortable working in an environment that may include noise and various production related activities. 
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in all cleaning and sanitization tasks. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with production staff and other team members.
