Diodes Incorporated is seeking an IT Applications Analyst to work on the design and development of software programs, testing, and day-to-day production support 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Interact with end-user and others to gather and analyze requirements
• Provide end user and technical support and enhancement of existing programs 
• Prepare detailed guide to end-users
• Collaborate with local and remote teams to design sustainable, effective programs 
• To research and recommend the latest tools and technologies which can enhance the features and performance of the application
• Support other required business activities as directed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field required
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, RDBMS schema design and development and design/architectural patterns, e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• Experience in full lifecycle software development methodology
• 3 - 5 years of software development experience using C# and .NET. Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET)
• Working knowledge of workflow design/development. Experience in Microsoft SharePoint or K2 Five/BlackPearl is a plus.
• Knowledge of architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Preferred skills: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and Powershell, JSON, JSONP, XML/XSL, Web-services
• Strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting, written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and work well in a global team setting
