Purpose

The powder coat team member performs all tasks involved in the painting of the company’s products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The candidate will also be responsible for the day to day preventative maintenance of the Powder coat equipment 


Role and Responsibilities

· 

Requirements:

  • Hang parts on conveyor
  • Clean parts for proper adherence.
  • Apply primer and paint to products
  • Unload finished product onto pallets to be sent to warehouse
  • Good hand eye coordination
  • Time management
  • Work well with others
  • Attention to details
  • Quality oriented in color of paint and application
  • Clean up all equipment
  • Keep work area clean
  • Other duties as needed

Monday-Friday 3:30pm- Midnight

$16-17 Depending on experience




ADA Requirements

Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels, and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time while frequently using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. Employee must be able to see up close, use peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Will frequently and repetitively be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Two (2) years of painting preparation, touch-up, part mark, spray paint, silk-screen, or related experience

Ability to use handheld power tools, paint equipment, and bulky parts and assemblies

Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred

Ability to read and interpret production blueprints preferred
