The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Apex Tool Group is currently looking for a 2nd shift Shipping/ Receiving Associate to support our facility in Dayton, OH. The Dayton plant has a diverse product line producing both Aerospace and non-aerospace products.

This position will report to the Shipping Supervisor, He or she will work closely with our operations and materials team to ensure timely and successful shipping and receiving.

The Build (Responsibilities)

·         Operate equipment in the Shipping and Receiving area to meet productivity targets.

·         Inspect all inbound shipments to confirm that the items delivered match the quantities that were ordered, identifying any discrepancies.

·         Complete all required shipping/ receiving documentation.

·         Categorize inventory and use suitable means to arrange assigned positions for ease of access and clear identification

·         Accurately pick and pack products for customer orders and meet predetermined quality guidelines

·         Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow plant safety rules and policies.

·         May perform other duties as required by the department.
